Machine Embroidery

Professional style machine embroidery in a home machine was invented by Janome. The models in this group, while not as feature-rich as our Memory Craft 11000, offer a very affordable entry into the world of machine embroidery at budget-friendly prices.

Club Information

When you purchase one of the Memory Craft models in this group, you are welcome to attend our monthly Memory Craft Club, which is a lecture demo featuring information, "Sew and Tell" sessions, extra discounts and a lot of fun!

The machines in this section offer the Memory Craft fully-computerized professional-style machine embroidery.

Janome MB-4

This most powerful member of the Janome family of embroidery machines is an absolute marvel. It can be viewed as a very high-end home machine, or as an entry-level commercial machine. With 4 needles, it can sew designs of up to 4 colors non-stop, clipping threads between color changes and jump stitches. Sewing speed is a very respectable 800 stitches per minute, the maximum at which most commercial embroidery is done. The maximum sewing field is 240mm x 200mm, somewhat larger than 9" x 7". It comes with 3 standard hoops:

bulletMB-1: 240mm x 200mm
bulletMB-2: 126mm x 110mm
bulletMB-3: 50mm x 50mm

A cap hoop is available, as well as a sock hoop system and additional lettering hoops. You can also use Tajima hoops, up to the maximum hoop size of 240mm x 200mm.

Designs are input through the detachable screen (RCS), from USB memory, ATA PC Cards, or even external CD-ROM. The MB-4 accepts the Janome JEF format, as well as Tajima DST. The RCS can control as many as 3 MB-4 machines. You can also control the MB-4 using the Janome Digitizer MB software.

Memory Craft 350E

For a full-featured, standalone embroidery machine, at an affordable price, look no further than the 350E. It comes with both the standard 4" x 4" hoop, as well as the large 5" x 7" hoop as did its predecessor, the 300E. Designs are input using a readily-available industry-standard ATA PC Card or a USB flash drive (included when you buy from us). Built-in scissors cut the thread between color changes. A faster processor lets you navigate through design folders quickly, and you can have thousands of designs in the memory device, organized in folders. This embroidery-only model makes a perfect companion for your existing sewing machine, allowing you to sew while it embroiders at 650 stitches per minute. The 350E uses the popular Janome JEF format.
